About the fair

9 – 13 April 2018
SNIEC – Shanghai New International Expo
Shanghai, China

CCMT – Shanghai-edition of CIMT – the original in even years!

With that slogan German machine tools and related industries presenting themselves in Shanghai every two years and since 2014 in Shanghai at CCMT – China CNC Machine Tool Show. For the 3rd time CCMT will be staged at the SNIEC venue in Pudong – offering therefore a well-established place and sufficient space to grow also in future: 2014 starting with 7 halls and 4 temporary halls at the out-door area, CCMT developed to 8 regular halls in 2016 and will occupy 2018 the whole North and West-halls of SNIEC – in total 10 halls. Here – in contrary to CIMT in Beijing – CCMT offers local and international exhibitors the possibility to present themselves without any shortage of space and on a well-maintained venue.

Visitors from one of the most important industrial areas in China, easily to be reached also from other regions in China and due to the good connection to the international airport in Pudong also from everywhere throughout East-, Southeast-Asia and worldwide, will again gather at CCMT to see the latest achievements in machine tools and tools technologies, accessories, components,  related software and robotic/automation applications. As the German machine tools and related industries are well-known for their highest standard and their tailor-made engineered solutions for the needs of the certain customer, visitors should not miss coming to the German Pavilion (hall N1) and the German Group (halls N1 and N3): 27 Exhibitors within the official German pavilion and further 45 German exhibitors within the German Group – beside other represented German companies – will welcome you on-site. With far more than 4.000 sqm net-space German exhibitors will form again the largest foreign group at CCMT 2018.

The German information booth is located in hall N1 – booth-no. N1-B111. Please pass-by and get more information there.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international/national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.

Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.

The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.

The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Ministry of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture.

As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
