The flutes of RUKO high performance step drills are CBN ground from the solid hardened form. Because CBN (cubical boron nitride) is a much harder abrasive than even silicium carbide or corundum, a better and sharper cutting edge is achieved - without burrs. And, with higher dimensional precision the drills will last considerably longer while maintaining the precise process tolerances.

Today, Ali Dalgic takes over the management of the RUKO Group.
After studying mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Ali Dalgic worked for various companies in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry as well as the metal cutting industry in management positions, including managing director in an international environment. Most recently, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the graduate engineer held the entire entrepreneurial responsibility for the Swiss subsidiary of a leading international machine tool manufacturer.
Ali Dalgic has a clear vision for RUKO: "We will focus on our entire value added chain and the structure of our sales force even more towards satisfying our customers needs. In the future, RUKO will open up additional sales channels and expand business internationally - a challenge that I am very much looking forward to."

The newly developed cutting geometry of the ULTIMATECUT enormously reduces the axial and radial forces, which are affecting the tool during the countersinking. The variably running relief grinding was specially developed and ensures a very quiet countersinking procedure and a perfect surface quality, which guarantees the best results. (The new RUnaTEC coating further increases performance). The specially developed flute parameters,
such as the angle, the transition radius as well as the extra-wide chip flute, ensure an optimal chip and heat removal and therefore enable a high wear resistance.
Furthermore, the new geometry prevents material welding and reduces the countersinking force. Considerably less feed power while countersinking is now necessary. The materials can be handled either with a very high as well as with a very low cutting speed, without loss of quality/loosing quality concerning the result.
